Hi Parents,
We had an amazing first few days! I've enjoyed getting to know the students. We have been going over rules, routines, and procedures in order to ensure we maximize our time for learning. We are ready to jump into our curriculum on Monday and will be moving at a steady pace from that point on. We'll be working on writing personal narratives, building stamina in our reading lives, and reviewing place value and rounding in math. We will also be finishing up our book on the seven habits that help students achieve success in school.
This blog will be where you can find weekly updates (I'll send a reminder email every time I post to the blog), important calendar items, and great resources for the students. Please get in the habit of taking just a few minutes each week to read over the blog so you are fully informed about the happenings in our room.

Open House for third grade is this Thursday, August 8th at 6:00. I am looking forward to seeing you again and sharing important information about our year. The presentation will be about an hour.
On Monday, your child will be bringing home the Cobb County folders. Please complete the forms inside and return to school as soon as possible.
